I think this is a rig for getting views of the actors "driving." The real driver is way out front.
I was in New Orleans for work when they were filming some stunts there for this movie. The co-worker I was with and I had badges on for the convention center. We saw them filming and just walked over and started talking to people. Hung out for about an hour watching them film before someone realized we didn't have the right badges and kicked us out. We left, flipped the badges over so it was just blank and walked back over and watched some more. I'll have to look for those photos(actual film).

Driver and driving controls up front. Vehicle of choice for filming can attach to rear and I assume main chassis can be reused.

In kinja crop size it looks like a Dukes of Mad Max II, Beyond Hazzardome prototype.

I hope to god this doesn't mean there's another Dukes of Hazzard movie.

Holy crap, that is a lot of gear just to film actors in a real car! I would like to know why this is better than just towing the car behind a camera truck.
